You may have read about a vulnerability in a security package called SSL v3. Servers around the world are turning off SSL v3 and using a replacement system. You may receive emails from such services as Authorize.net, UPS or PayPal that they are doing this.

A consequence of this change at those servers is that some changes will be needed to our customer’s web sites. Specifically, any site using the XCart shopping cart software will need to be changed. We will be notifying those customers shortly who will be affected by this.

Other online payment interfaces, such as that used by Symposia, and the page accessed by the Pay Your Invoice link on this page, have been checked and do not require any change.

We no longer support SSL v3 on any of our servers. So incoming secure connections to our server are not vulnerable.
